Nature
Odds and Ends
Black and White
Welcome to the unsilent earth, a photo gallery featuring some of my favorite photographs, taken by myself. I began taking photographs seriously at two different times: in 1998, when I visited Germany for a month, and in 2001, when my dad and I spent one week in Washington, D.C. and then one week camping in Virginia. This site originated in 2001, and was composed of photos from those two trips.

In mid-2002, my dad bought me my first digital camera, a Canon PowerShot A40. I was thrilled to have a camera that would allow me to take all the photos I wanted without worrying about all the film I would have to buy. The camera went on several trips with me, including D.C. in 2003 and a month long trip through several states in 2005. In late 2005, my dad bought me my second digital camera, a Panasonic Lumix FZ-30, which I still use. It has been an excellent camera, and is one with which I will continue to grow.

I like photographing most every subject. However, I prefer the calmness of nature and the beauty of cemeteries to almost any other subject. I like snapping photos of "non-traditional" subjects, such as the eye of a plasma ball or the effect of streams of water when they cross one another. The photos shown on this site represent but a minuscule amount of the photographs I have taken over the past several years.

To the left you will see links to different categories. Clicking on each category will bring up the respective page with a thumbnail gallery for each photo. Once on the gallery page, you can easily view my photos by pointing your mouse over the thumbnails. This site is has not been added on to in probably a decade, but hopefully before too long I will update this site with more photos.

I hope you enjoy your visit to my site, and thank you for taking the time to visit.
